'Nali: :/ I was in no way insinuating that the world revolves around werewolves vs. vampires. Where you drew that conclusion I will never know. And I didn't say it was a Native American belief alone. I said it is a Native American belif. Jacob is Native American. SM had them be shapeshifters instead of werewolves because of the heritage she gave them. She was going for realism by having them be shifters instead of werewolves, which is semi-contradictory to the fantasey nature of the series.
