The will of the spirits from the ancestral Tzimisce homeland weighs heavy on your blood - soil from a place important to you as a mortal wont do. You actually need two handfuls of the tainted Eastern European soil of the Tzimisce homeland. Ancestral Soil Dependence most commonly manifests in the childer of Koldun and the branch of the clan thought to be decended from Yorak. Kazys: Scarface (2-to-4-pt. Physical Flaw): You're a walking mess of scars. Although you heal damage with Cainite efficiency, the manner in which you do so is all too human. For some reason, the regenerating flesh returns as scar tissue. Vicissitude doesn't help; in fact, it aggravates your condition with stretch marks and cicatrices anywhere your skin breaks. While this doesn't hamper you physically, it does affect your interactions with other people. For 2 points, all Social roll difficulties increase by one. If you purchase Scarface as a 3-point Flaw, your face and body are so horribly blemished that your Appearance rating can never exceed 2. Kazys: As a 4-point Flaw, the swath of scars is thick enough to hinder your actions through skin-resistance. All Dexterity rolls also increase by one, in addition to the other penalties this Flaw imposes at lesser levels. You can ignore this penalty for one specific action by taking one level of (unsoakable) bashing damage; essentially, you're tearing the scar tissue for greater range of motion. Kazys: It depends. During the exam times of the year for instance it can drop to around 0, but it picks up again to a steady 3-4 at other times. You've just caught it during it's down-time, but a couple of weeks ago we were getting... Eh, I'd have to go into the Admin CP to check the exact stats. About a 4, I'd guess. The site pulls itself out of downtime, struggles along for a while, picks up momentum, activity becomes steady, then suddenly a member or two will disappear and all of a sudden we run out of steam and the place dies down again for a few weeks/couple of months. Kazys: I'd love to get posting right now, but my F:\ drive - the 200-something GB RAID array with ALL of my writing, as well as my DVDs and music, and the vast majority of my games and program files - has mysteriously vanished from "My Computer" since the last time I got this heap running again earlier last month, making everything inaccessible until I figure out how to get it back, which I'm still not sure how to do. I can't access any of my unfinished posts or characters, and trying to rewrite from scratch (especially stuff you'd nearly completed) sucks ass.
